Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 4, 2026

Lexar Prints ("Lexar Prints," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website lexarprints.com and provides 3D printing, laser engraving, custom part design, and 3D scanning services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our online store, and the phone, text, and email communications we exchange with customers. By using our website or giving us your contact information, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information You Give Us

You give us personal information when you place an order, request a quote, contact us for support, or provide your details at the time of service. Depending on what you do, that information can include your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, the items or services you ordered, and the contents of any message you send us. If you contact us by text message, we receive your mobile number and whatever you choose to write in that conversation.

We do not collect payment card numbers ourselves. Payments on our website are processed by Shopify and its payment providers, who handle your card details under their own security standards and privacy policies. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded along with the last four digits and card type needed to identify the transaction.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, our hosting platform and analytics tools automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of those visits. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, and we use it to keep the site working correctly, to keep it secure, and to understand which pages customers actually use. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings, though parts of our site may not work properly if you do.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to fulfill and deliver your order, to prepare quotes, to answer your questions, to send you updates about work in progress, to process payments, to prevent fraud and abuse, to keep records required for tax and accounting purposes, and to improve our services. We also use your contact information to ask for a review after a completed job, which is described in more detail in the text messaging section below.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Text Messages

If you provide your mobile number to Lexar Prints, whether in person, over the phone, on our website, or at the time of service, you agree to receive text messages from us related to your service. These messages include order and appointment updates and requests to leave a review of your experience.

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with us, and in practice amounts to only a small number of messages related to work we have done for you. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, and you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that we will not send you further text messages unless you opt back in. Reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below, for assistance.

We do not share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your mobile number is shared only with the messaging service providers who transmit our messages on our behalf, and those providers are contractually limited to using it for that purpose. No mobile information is sold to anyone at any time.

Our text messages are sent from (888) 652-7032, which is also the number that reaches our business by phone.

5. Email

If you provide an email address, we use it to send order confirmations, quotes, service updates, and answers to your questions. If you separately opt in to marketing or promotional email, every one of those messages includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops promotional email while still allowing transactional messages about work you have ordered.

6. When We Share Information

We share personal information only with the service providers who make our business run, and only to the extent they need it. These include our website and e-commerce platform, our payment processors, our shipping and delivery carriers, our email and text messaging providers, and the marketing provider that manages our Google Business Profile and customer communications on our behalf. Each of these providers is permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our business, or the public. If our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy continues to apply to information transferred in that way.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to provide our services and for the period required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. We keep contact information and message history for as long as you remain a customer, and afterward only as long as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information in our care, including encrypted connections on our website and access controls on the systems that store customer records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is wrong, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP and out of promotional email by using the unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what information we collect and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top and post the updated version on this page. Significant changes will be communicated where required by law.
